Do you like trains? I like trains. Are you an expert an trains? Well... I'm not. I just like them. I like spotting them winding along a riverside or shunting freight cars around a yard. I am not, however, one of those people that can take one look at a locomotive and tell you the manufacturer and the model and the horsepower and so forth. My exacting standards judge a train on just two criteria: cool or not cool. A red and white Georgia Southern locomotive laying by in a weed-grown yard in Pittsburgh? Cool. A Long Island Railroad electric humming through Hicksville? Not cool. So, go forth and enjoy the photographs, just don't expect to learn much.
