Pac Bell Park is now called SBC Park
Pac Bell Park is the home of the San Francisco Giants of the National League.
I've never been to Pac Bell Park. Heck, I've never even been to San Francisco, but this past summer my wife Diane spent a few days there. I gave her the assignment of swinging by Pac Bell in her free time and snapping a few snapshots for Fields of Dreams. I think she has done admirably.
As you can see, there was no game that day, but she reported that the ballpark was as beautiful as everyone says it is. The guards are very friendly and there is accomodation for visitors as they allow pedestrians to walk along the right field fence and even take a few minutes on the center field promenade to take in the park. This is a great PR move and I wish more teams were so considerate of the fans.
I will get there someday, but until them these shots will have to do.
