Lynx Stadium is the home of the Ottawa Lynx of the International League. The Lynx are the Class AAA affiliate of the Montreal Expos. Lynx Stadium used to be called JetForm Park before JetForm (whatever that was) went out of business. In the third photo, you can see where the words "WELCOME TO JETFORM PARK" have been removed from the concrete facing in both English and French!

Lynx Stadium is just a short drive from downtown, easily accessible from the Highway. It is a straightforward, functional stadium. It has one large seating bowl which sweeps from left field to right field, about halfway down each foul line. It is comfortable and the people are friendly. It is below street level, which allows folks standing on the street in the outfield to see the game through the fence, a feature I always like considering that taxpayers pay for these ballparks.

At the concession stand, go for the poutine, which are french fries covered in gravy and cheese. Sounds odd, tastes good. There is a grill down the left field line if you like your meat freshly cooked over burning coals. It was also Mexican night when we were there so we got a Mexican ballet and three national anthems.

As a ballpark, Lynx Stadium is decidedly run-of-the-mill. Comfortable and a nice place to see a game, but utterly unremarkable and thus it gets a grade of three hot dogs. I gave it an extra half hot dog, though, for the friendliness of the people (thanks, Pete, for the tickets), the international flavor (announcements in English and French), cleanliness, and the poutine. We had a nice time. It's a very pleasant place to see a game.
