Fitness First Stadium is the home of the Bournemouth Football Club of the English Football Association Division 3. The team nickname is The Cherries.
The new stadium in Bournemouth is a fine place to see a football game. Straight stands running along three sides of the pitch with a fairly sharp incline give a really close, intimate view of the action. All of the seats are covered by transparent roofing to keep the rain out, but let the light in.
The open 4th side presents a field and a parking lot, but also give opportunity for enterprising young lads to climb a nearby tree and watch the game for free.
The area around the stadium is very nice... on three sides. Houses and trees make for a pleasant setting. The dirt parking lot and single road exit on the open end leave a little something to be desired.
All in all, an excellent place to see a game.
