All Sports Stadium was the home of the Oklahoma City 89ers of the American Association. The 89ers were the AAA affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
In 1998, the 89ers, the American Association, and All Sports Stadium faded into memory, to be replaced by a new name, a new logo, a new league, and a new ballpark. Oklahomans now root for the Oklahoma Redhawks of the Pacific Coast League in brand new Bricktown Ballpark, which I am told is an absolutely beautiful place.

My visit to Oklahoma City was poorly timed, missing the baseball season by one week, so these are pre-season photos on display. It seemed to be a nice enough park, though certainly not spectacular. I liked the way the seats were painted in the team's colors and the way the bowl of the stands was cut into the side of a hill. This is all in vogue now, allowing customers to walk down to their seats, but you don't see many older stadiums built in this manner.
All Sports Stadium was a few miles from downtown and basically sitting out in the middle of an empty plain, presumably sight of the annual State Fair. I can not attest to the experience of seeing a game there, but while it seemed a decent enough place, photos of the new place lead me to believe that the citizens of Oklahoma shed no tears over the move to Brickyard Ballpark.
