Who indeed? Without giving away too much of the plot, I can tell you that I am a very busy and happy fellow who lives in the northern suburbs of New York City with my wife and daughter and a couple of cats. I was born in 1964 (you can do the math).

I am blessed/cursed with more interests and curiosities than a mere 24 hours a day allows me to indulge. So, forgoing adequate sleep, I indulge them all, doing my best, usually falling a bit short of the mark, but always having a great time trying. This web site brings together the results of some, but not all, of my never ending projects and passions.

What follows is a brief synopsis of each area of this site.

MCMAS stands for the Mike Castro Music Appreciation Society. The society, formed in 1989, is a loose collection of music fans like myself. We hold no annual convention, pay no dues, live by no bylaws, have no secret handshake. There are occassional newsletters with album reviews and concert reviews. The site also contains an area with information about my own albums, written, performed and produced by yours truly. Anyone who loves music is welcome to join. Check out the MCMAS site for more information.

Fields of Dreams is my site dedicated to Major and Minor League Baseball Stadiums. I love baseball. I love baseball stadiums. If you do as well, then go to Fields of Dreams. There are tons of photographs, descriptions, and ratings of every park I have ever seen.

Trains features photographs of real trains as well as a slideshow tour of my own model railroad, now deceased. This HO scale layout, measured 7' x 17'. If you like Trains, take a look.

Photography features collections of my photographs, some of which you will find on the Travel and Trains sites. Here they are grouped by category and you are welcome to browse around and enjoy the pictures. Click on Photography to see what it's all about.

So there you have it! I hope you enjoy visiting the various sites that pique your interest as much as I have enjoyed building them and the content they portray.
